BBC Radio Bristol Presenter Martin Evans made a splash on radio this morning, when he unfortunately went head over heels into the marina whilst interviewing members of the gig club. Martin had come down to talk to Paula and Iz about the man vs gig when he slipped on the steps live on air. Managing to save his recording equipment, he continued like the true professional and carried on broadcasting. Apparently it was a first for local radio! He had wanted splashing noises, and he certainly got them! With just soggy trainers and jeans, he was able to finish up and then went straight on to his next broadcast - abseiling at the local hospital.
